What's the difference between a psychotherapist and a career and business coach?
If you want emotional healing or relief, a psychotherapist can help you. However, coaching can occur concurrently with your therapy work. If you are presently in therapy, please consult your mental health professional and get his/her input before entering into a coaching relationship.

What's in the online client-only resource area?
Here you will find pencil and paper career-related assessments, career and life self-exploratory exercises, personal development information, career management tips, and relevant links to Internet resources. This is a client-privilege-only area and you may access it 24/7 during the entire time of our coaching relationship.

How helpful has the career coaching experience been to your clients?
Of the people I have coached, 86 percent feel they achieved their goals. As the coach, I'm not here to do the work for you or fix your problems.  Instead, as the career coach I provide you with the systems, tools, structure, and support that create the conditions for you to effectively use your talents, abilities, and knowledge to accomplish your goals.

How much does coaching cost?
Clients retain my coaching services on a monthly basis or 30-day cycle. The monthly fee is payable in advance and ranges from $150 to $475 depending on what service package you prefer. Clients who live outside the Whitehall, Montana local calling area are responsible for long distance telephone charges incurred for coaching sessions. We accept checks, money orders, Visa, and MasterCard.

Our coaching relationship may be discontinued at any time at the option of either party. If we elect to stop or suspend coaching services, any unused coaching fees will be returned. If you don't show up for a scheduled call, you forfeit the session. Exceptions are given with 24-hour notice or in case of an emergency.

Are coaching costs tax deductible?
Coaching fees for career development or to enhance your business may be tax deductible. In the United States, expenses of continuing education undertaken to maintain and improve business and professional skills are often tax deductible. Please check with your tax professional to determine whether coaching fees are tax deductible in your particular situation.
